Vaghinak Yeghiazaryan is a senior financial sector executive and insurance industry leader, serving as CEO of the Armenian Motor Insurers’ Bureau.In his role, he has been a key architect of the Bureau’s strategic transformation, focusing on strengthening Armenia’s compulsory motor insurance system, enhancing risk-based supervision, and advancing digital infrastructure and data-driven governance across the insurance market.

His leadership has emphasized regulatory efficiency, system resilience, and alignment with international best practices in insurance oversight.
Previously, he held senior supervisory and risk management positions at the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia, where he contributed to banking and insurance sector oversight frameworks, as well as executive leadership roles in the banking sector at Unibank. He holds a degree in Finance and Accounting from Yerevan State University of Economics and a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the UCL, University of London, and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
